Comments

This is a lovely piece: calm, subtle, and moving at its start and wholly amusing throughout. The original characters are vibrantly alive, unique, and relatable. Add to that mix an intriguing plot and a setting of its own and this is a case fic that could stand as its own novel.

Characterization

Decent - Sherlock is presented as so much more approachable here than is the norm - overt and open as only John could know him.
